Facebook has Instant Articles, and now Google has started adding weight to pages optimised for fast mobile loading according to Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) guidelines.
Fortunately though, if your website is one of the 25% of all sites on the web that are built on WordPress it’s easy to enable AMP by simply installing and activating a plugin.
The plugin is written by Automattic, the same people who produce WordPress and other popular plugins like Jetpack.
According to a Google Blog, AMP pages will appear when relevant in the Top Stories section of the results page.
