OK, so that’s a silly question, everybody likes Pizza!
Something that crops up all too frequently on Facebook are requests for you to “press like if you like …”. Sometimes it’s pizza, others it’s doughnuts or a picture of a cat.
But what does it say about the company? Well, not a lot if anything really, other than that the company is desperate for interaction.
Posts like this do nothing to increase your following, and can actually do more harm than good.
Remember that everything a Facebook user comments on or likes shows up in their timeline to all of their friends. Whilst you may get likes on an “empty” post (after all many users can’t resist pizza), if it is meaningless, that interaction means nothing and any likes you gain could be worth less than a meaningful post.
There is one simple rule for empty posts; please don’t do it!
